Top government officials in the world will be speaking in Singapore, at Innovation Labs World on the 27th of September. Paul Shetler - chief of Australia’s Digital Transformation Office - will share how Australia has transformed its digital services. Jacqueline Poh, CEO-designate of Singapore’s GovTech will talk about why it is important for the public sector to act as a catalyst to welcome technological disruption, and how governments should start this journey. Senior public officials will also share digital, design and data case studies, highlighting innovative approaches across the world. Siim Siikut from Estonia’s Prime Minister Office will speak about what it takes to push boundaries in digital government. Estonia is part of the Digital 5, a group of world-leading digital nations. Lee Hoi Seung - Director of the Social Innovation Division of Seoul’s Metropolitan Government - will discuss what innovation policy really means. The city allows its citizens to have a fair share in policy-making and city-planning, and has this month launched a portal for residents to design public spaces. Liu Feng Yuan, Singapore’s Director of Government Analytics from the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) will speak about transport mobility as a service. He leads the team behind Beeline, a public transport service that adapts to commuters’ demands.
