How can Singapore build its cybersecurity capabilities?

Huang Shao Fei, President of the Singapore Computer Society Infocomm Security Chapter, will discuss lessons to build cybersecurity capabilities at a critical infrastructure summit on 12 July.

He will speak at the summit on how Singapore can build up its cybersecurity capabilities, the challenges it must overcome in building specialist skills, and the role of automation tech like AI in supporting this.

Huang is also Deputy Group Director of Cybersecurity at the Land Transport Authority, where he is looking into the use of AI in the face of a global shortage of security specialists. He has previously worked with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Defence Science Organisation National Laboratories and Ministry of Defence.
