Singapore will share their experience with officials in Adelaide on how a 3D digital twin of Singapore could provide an innovative platform for urban solutioning and collaboration.

George Loh, Programmes Director at the National Research Foundation of Singapore, will also be sharing the Virtual Singapore Programme at the 3DEXPERIENCE Forum Asia Pacific South 2018.

He will discuss how cities can harness data to become more sustainable. Virtual Singapore is one example of how 3D mapping can better inform urban planning and decision making.

The forum is hosted by Dassault Systèmes, a global leader in 3D design and mapping software, in partnership with the South Australia Government. Topics include future of cities, aerospace, defence, mining and space, and how these will shape the state’s economy.

Delegates will learn about the latest trends and technologies transforming these industries, like how virtual reality can help improve strategic decision-making.

Another feature is the 3DEXPERIENCE playground, which will showcase 11 virtual immersive experiences of how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is transforming mining, defence & aerospace, marine & offshore and EPU (energy, process and utilities).

The summit will be held on 13 February at the Adelaide Oval, and is free for participants. Register your interest to attend by filling in this form.
