Can people be trained to work with AI?

By Cognizant

Which jobs will grow and what skills should we hone for the future?

Some work cannot be carried out by machines, and governments need to focus on training skills that are uniquely human, according to a research report.

Work involving collaboration, creativity, curiosity, empathy and physical touch cannot be carried out by machines today, the report by consultancy Cognizant says.

In healthcare, for instance, nurses are able to spend more time empathising with and guiding patients, as the manual and repetitive parts of their jobs are automated.

New kinds of jobs will also be created. For example, augmented reality designers will be in demand in insurance companies as the claims management process is redesigned, the report predicts.
