Global Centre for Public Service Excellence inks partnership with "inspiring startup".

The Global Centre for Public Service Excellence (GCPSE) is partnering with GovInsider to jointly host two international conferences in Singapore on disruptive technologies in public service. GCPSE is an arm of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding today to host 'Innovation Labs World' and the 'International Conference on Disruptive Technologies & the Public Service' in the week of 25 September 2017. All over the world, technological disruption is transforming the delivery of public services and how governments are engaging citizens.

These events will showcase the best in public sector innovation, and gather the brightest minds in the space to share their successes. “We are proud to be partnering with GovInsider."

“We are proud to be partnering with GovInsider on these initiatives,” said Max Everest-Phillips, Director of the GCPSE. “Technology is important for all levels of government in developing countries.

At our conferences, we will be setting out practical steps for governments to best exploit future trends in ICT to help the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people.”

“We look forward to further collaborations with this inspiring startup,” Everest-Phillips added. “GovInsider is proud to have the support of the UNDP GCPSE,” said Joshua Chambers, Founder of GovInsider.

“We are delighted to collaborate on our global summit, Innovation Labs World, and honoured to contribute to the International Conference on Disruptive Technologies and the Public Service.”

Innovation Labs World

Now in its second year, GovInsider’s Innovation Labs World is a global summit that will gather government officials from all over the world to educate, inspire and share best practices on public sector innovation.

It will be held on 26 September 2017 in Singapore. Senior representatives of UNDP will open the event, and speak in a dedicated session focusing on public service delivery.

An estimated 1,000 government officials are expected to attend. The GovInsider Innovation Awards will also be held at the event, celebrating the best of public service delivery.

International Conference on Disruptive Technologies & the Public Service

GCPSE and its esteemed partners, the Nanyang Technopreneurship Centre and the Centre for Economics and Public Administration, will be presenting the International Conference on Disruptive Technologies & the Public Service, happening on 28-29 September 2017 in Singapore.

Through this event, governments can learn how to harness the full potential of technology to deliver on the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

GovInsider will provide support through the sharing of case studies, session facilitations, and media coverage to its audience of over 1.1 million government officials worldwide.

150 public officials from emerging economies, along with development practitioners, innovators and technology providers, are expected to attend.
