Software will not be able to replicate all of the work done today by humans, and people will need to be better trained in work that is uniquely human, research shows.

A report by consultancy firm Cognizant says that work involving collaboration, creativity, curiosity, empathy and physical touch cannot be carried out by machines today,

In healthcare, for instance, nurses are able to spend more time empathising with and guiding patients as the manual, repetitive parts of their jobs are automated.

New kinds of jobs will also be created. For example, augmented reality designers will be in demand in insurance companies as the claims management process is redesigned, the report predicts.
