Save-the-date: 16 October, United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok.

Dr Sak Segkhoonthod, the President and CEO of the Digital Government Development Agency of Thailand, has confirmed his participation at GovInsider Live.

His vision for digital services in Thailand is simple: “When you want to start a business in Thailand, there will be no need to bring any documents,” he told GovInsider previously. Dr Sak also hopes to make it easier for citizens to pay taxes automatically, and have a single card to transact with any government agency.

Dr Sak recently launched a two-year plan for digital governance within government agencies. This includes seamless data exchange, a data centre, open government data portals, and improved communication within government, according to the International Academy of CIO.

Dr Sak will speak at GovInsider Live, Asia’s biggest and best government innovation summit. We are only two months away! Have you registered yet?

The summit takes place on 16 October at the United Nations Headquarters in Bangkok. It will host 1,000 senior officials from across ASEAN including GCIOs, Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and startups.
