The City of West Torrens in South Australia has boosted staff productivity by scrapping old processes and using digital systems.

“We have achieved efficiency and productivity improvements by replacing paper-based work practices with online services,” the council says in a new report.

The city built a system that allows staff across departments to work better with each other.

The city also replaced its paper forms with digital ones. This now allows staff to submit requests and get approvals from managers much quicker.
