IMDA’s CEO and Assistant Chief Executive to share insights into the digital economy and data protection.

Singapore’s Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) will be speaking at Innovation Labs World in Singapore on 25 September.

CEO Tan Kiat How will be speaking at the Global Insights Panel in the morning stream, where he will be joined by Sophie Løhde, Minister for Public Sector Innovation, Denmark. He will be sharing IMDA’s vision for boosting Singapore’s digital economy.

Part of IMDA’s job is to figure out how data exchange can happen safely, only with consent, and without breaching regulations or putting people at risk of identity theft, said Tan in an exclusive interview with GovInsider.

Assistant Chief Executive Yeong Zee Kin will speak in the Data stream on how data plays an integral role to building a digital economy. IMDA “will be a trusted ecosystem when businesses can make use of data and consumers trust businesses with their personal data,” shared Yeong in his interview with GovInsider.

Over 1,000 senior government officials from across the world will attend Innovation Labs World on 25 September. Will you join us there?
