How Singapore is personalising learning
By Microsoft
National university using analytics to improve online learning.
Data is helping the National University of Singapore create new services that match its students’ needs.
The university’s online learning system creates enormous amounts of data - 2 billion records so far. It is analysing this data to understand peak traffic periods, the most popular features and what kinds of devices students use.
In the future, it plans to analyse this data in real-time to design more personalised services. For instance, it could suggest relevant information for students as they browse the university’s website.
