Dr Bambang Brodjonegoro, Minister of National Development Planning, Indonesia, will be returning as a keynote speaker at GovPay | GovNext on 22 January 2019 in Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta.

During his speech, the Minister will be sharing more about the Indonesian government's efforts to standardise data across the nation - and broader efforts to fight inequality through economic reforms.

“To reduce inequality, especially at the local level, the spirit of open government will be required, simply because the local government needs to know what will be the main priority from their citizens,” said Dr Brodjonegoro during the inaugural summit earlier this year.

The sequel of the overwhelmingly successful summit for data, finance and citizen engagement produced by GovInsider, next year's edition will bring together hundreds of senior influencers from Indonesia including Governors, Mayors, CIOs and the Police.

The minister will be joining a stellar lineup of speakers who have already confirmed:
  • Sutarmidji, Governor of West Kalimantan, Indonesia
  • Clarito Alejandro, Assistant Secretary, ICT Management Group, Department of Budget and Management, the Philippines
  • Kyong-yul Lee, Secretary General, World Smart Cities Organisation
  • Amirudin Bin Abdul Wahab, Chief Executive, Cybersecurity Malaysia
