IMDA’s data innovation chief to speak at GovInsider’s pop-up summit

Yeong Zee Kin, Assistant Chief Executive of IMDA Singapore, will give a keynote speech at GovInsider’s pop-up summit on data sharing and protection.

The summit takes place on 23 May in Singapore and will host officials from government, healthcare, public safety and education, and private sector leaders.

Yeong leads the data innovation and protection programme at IMDA, working with agencies and the private sector to create forward-thinking frameworks for data use and AI governance. He is also Deputy Commissioner of the Personal Data Protection Commission where he formulates and implements data protection policies.

The summit is being run by GovInsider, in partnership with data security leader Gemalto, a Thales company.
