Enriching lives with smarter homes

How many times have you hurried out of home, only to realize that you left the lights or air-conditioner switched on?

New smart homes let people control all of this right from their smartphone, even when they're not home. Thrifty consumers can check how much electricity their homes are guzzling everyday, seeing how they can cut their bills. Fans can be set to automatically turn on or off based on the residents' schedule or the time of the day. And if the smoke detector goes off while no one is home, the smart home will automatically cut off power to electrical appliances.
