GovInsider’s flagship summit will gather over a thousand government officials to discuss future challenges.

Sophie Løhde, Denmark's Minister for Public Sector Innovation, will deliver the keynote speech at Innovation Labs World 2018 on 25 September in Singapore.

Amongst other topics, she will share lessons from the MindLab, Denmark’s world-leading innovation hub, and discuss how government is using AI and blockchain to improve services.

Løhde, 34, was previously health minister. She now leads the Ministry of Public Sector Innovation, set up in end-2016 to lead digitisation, modernisation, efficiency and management of the public sector.

Now into its third year, Innovation Labs World 2018 will bring together senior policymakers and technologists alike to showcase the most inspirational government case studies in the world.

Last year, the summit attracted over 800 delegates from 44 nations, with the majority from ASEAN. Senior Minister of State Dr Janil Puthucheary, Minister-in-charge of GovTech and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information of Singapore, was Guest-of-Honour.

Topics for ILW2018 include: the future of public service delivery; fighting fake news; digital platforms; future skills; predictive services; data analytics; data & trust; cyber security; public safety; supporting ageing demographics; and building startup ecosystems.

Over 1,000 senior government officials from across the world are expected to attend the summit on 25 September at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.
