Synopsis

In a world rapidly transformed by AI and digital innovation, staying ahead demands adaptability and continuous learning. A 2024 Gallup poll found that nearly 25% of workers worry that their jobs can become obsolete because of AI, up from 15% in 2021. In the same study, over 70% of chief human resources officers (CHRO) predicted AI would replace jobs within the next 3 years.​

Open-source technology is at the forefront of this revolution, driving innovation and collaboration. However, organisations often face challenges in equipping their workforce with the right skills to harness these advancements. ​

This highlights the growing skills gap in open-source technologies and AI-driven working environments which needs to be addressed. If this is not addressed well, it will be difficult to align workforce capabilities with emerging industry demands in organisation in the future. ​
