Indonesian President’s Deputy Chief of Staff to speak at GovPay

By GovInsider

GovInsider’s tax, digital identity, payments and urban tech summit will be held on 23 January 2018 in Jakarta.

Yanuar Nugroho, the Indonesian President’s Deputy Chief of Staff, will be delivering a keynote speech at GovPay, GovInsider’s tax, digital identity, payments and urban tech summit.

Nugroho will discuss how the Indonesian government uses data for policymaking across all levels, and to enable citizens to track the government’s progress.

Data and transparency must cut across all of the work the government does, he believes: “I am quite driven by the idea of having data and evidence-based policy.”

GovPay will gather top payment and procurement officials from across Asia. Topics include digital identity systems, urban tech, cyber security, payments and e-procurement, open data, and citizen engagement.

Keynote speakers include Sandiaga Uno, the Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Mayors from across Indonesia, and international pioneers from Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines.

Join us on 23 January 2018 in Jakarta at the Hotel Mulia to discuss how governments can transform payments systems; manage data; improve procurement; and optimise tax yields.

As with all GovInsider events, GovPay is free to the public sector.
