How Vietnam’s software city manages rapid growth

With countries across the region vying for tech startups, governments are looking to prove that they can provide a conducive environment for innovation.

The Vietnamese Government has set up a software city to drive growth in the tech industry. The project has seen massive growth, and now needs to cater to an expanding population with limited resources.

Quang Trung Software City, located outside Ho Chi Minh City, is home to 120 tech companies and 33 investors.

The government envisions it becoming a hub to live, work and study by 2020. The municipality delivers digital services to the companies and startups that have set up there.

These need to be secure and scalable so that entrepreneurs can rely on them to run their businesses smoothly.
