The artificial intelligence (AI) conversations in the global public sector are increasingly focused on sovereign AI and local innovations. Essentially, AI that is developed and secured within national borders.
Malaysia is also part of this conversation, with plans to advance "Made by Malaysia" AI solutions to enable the overall AI Nation aspirations.
The NAIO Pulse is a bi-monthly newsletter focusing on AI developments in the country, and published by Malaysia's National AI Office (NAIO).
March’s edition highlights that “sovereign AI ensures resilience and independence, while “Made by Malaysia” products project innovation outward — allowing Malaysia to compete not just as an adopter, but as a producer and exporter of trusted AI solutions.”
