Indonesia has 270 million people living across 17,508 islands. How can it ensure public services are constant across the country, and accurately distribute funds for poverty, healthcare, and education?

Data is the answer. President Joko Widodo introduced the Satu Data Indonesia policy in 2019 with a vision to enable Indonesia to make decisions based on “data that are accurate, current, integrated, accountable, accessible, and easily shared”, its National Planning Minister and Satu Data Chair told GovInsider.
