Learn about the future of urban design

Join international GIS experts and speakers from government in Singapore on 27 September.

Inclusivity and engagement: these are two factors that governments are fast realising are integral to urban design today.

Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority holds community workshops, where agency officials gather citizens to decide on how public infrastructure should be used. Meanwhile, experts are spearheading “participatory design”, where architects work with residents to co-design neighbourhoods.

How can communities, anywhere in the world, come together and have meaningful discussions on how their home will look like in decades? An upcoming summit in Singapore will delve into the possibilities to elevate citizen engagement with geospatial technologies.

International experts and speakers from government will convene to discuss the future of:

  • Urban design
  • Sustainability
  • Livability
  • Intelligent mobility
  • Smart city thinking
