By GovInsider
The series has been launched to share the three key steps for resilient public services.
A new online training series built for government officials shows how the public sector can develop services and infrastructure resilient to increasingly complex security risks.
The first session of the series, run by Microsoft and GovInsider, provides the basic building blocks governments should use to design security policies and procedures.
There are three key parts to this: protect, detect and respond, says Keshav Dhakad, Regional Director, Digital Crimes Unit, Microsoft Asia-Pacific, who will be hosting the first session.
In this 12 minute session, Dhakad will introduce the key technologies and tools to safeguard critical infrastructure, including using digital identities.
He will discuss how machine learning can be used to detect advanced threats, and how to respond in case of an attack. This introductory session is available online for free, and you can register here to view the session .
This is the first of a four part series. The following three episodes will delve into the details of each of these three basic building blocks.
