Ridwan Kamil, the Governor of West Java, Indonesia, has confirmed his participation in GovInsider Live, our flagship summit which will be held in Bangkok this year.
He hopes to develop West Java into a “super economic zone”. It is the most populous province in Indonesia, with over 46.5 million people, and is close to Jakarta - factors that make it attractive to foreign investors, reports The Jakarta Post.
Before he was Governor, Ridwan was Mayor of Bandung, where he worked towards eliminating bureaucracy in government, building a smart city, and overhauled public services so they are faster and more efficient. “A combination of Bali and Singapore – that will be my Bandung vision,” he told GovInsider previously.
He will speak at GovInsider Live, Asia’s biggest and best government innovation summit. We are only two months away!
