What to look forward to at GovInsider Live Indonesia

With Indonesia looking to become a leading digital nation, hear from top public sector leaders on the way forward for the country at the GovInsider Live Indonesia event that will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan on November 14, 2024.
Co-hosted with Digital Transformation Indonesia, the inaugural GovInsider Live Indonesia conference aims to shape the country's digital future and explore the latest innovations in the public sector.
The conference will bring together public sector leaders and practitioners who will address the challenges faced by Indonesia in its quest to digitalise public services.
Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital, Nezar Patria, will deliver the keynote and discuss how to unlock Indonesia's digital growth potential through technology transformation, adopting artificial intelligence (AI) as well as by improving cybersecurity and data privacy.
The event features a line-up of prominent speakers from the public sector.
Minister of Health's Expert Staff, Setiaji, will discuss how technology is reshaping Indonesia's healthcare sector into more accessible and integrated services through the SATUSEHAT platform. Also hear from Ministry of Education and Culture's Head of Data Centre and Information Technology, Yudhistira Nugraha, who will share about the AI blueprint for education.

Six key topics
During the event, participants will gain valuable insights from panel sessions on how to drive digital transformation. The discussions have been divided into six sessions. There will be a policy coordination session, a digital integration and citizen engagement session, and a digital leadership session.
The remaining sessions will focus on maximising data value, generative AI (GenAI) applications in the public sector, and one on how to improve cybersecurity.
In the policy coordination session, leaders of ministries and agencies will discuss the strategies needed for Indonesia to become a leading digital nation, including how to enhance cross-ministerial cooperation and overcome the challenges of sectoral silos for the greater good.
The digital integration session will see public sector practitioners discuss how integrated digital platforms can drive public sector efficiency and increase citizen engagement in accessing public services.
This panel session will also discuss the future of public services after the birth of GovTech Indonesia, INA Digital, and the development of a national digital identity (digital ID) as a key pillar of digital public infrastructure (DPI) in Indonesia.
The digital leadership panel session will discuss the important balance between nurturing the next generation of digital leaders and equipping employees with essential digital skills.
In this session, panellists from Indonesia and Malaysia will share how their organisations are delivering digital training to keep pace with the ever-changing industry.

Maximising data and generative AI for the public sector
The data session will explore how to utilise data analytics and data governance to drive efficiency, transparency and better decision-making.
The panelists will also discuss the right solutions to overcome the challenges of data silos that have been an obstacle to the data sharing process and data exchange for the public interest.
The panel session on GenAI will focus on how the technology is reshaping governance, improving service delivery, and optimising decision-making processes to meet the evolving needs of citizens and stakeholders.
Public sector practitioners will share how their organisations are using GenAI to create service innovations, help analyse evolving patterns and ensure responsible AI implementation.
The next session will be on navigating cyber security and resilience. Panellists will address the challenges of how to protect infrastructure from evolving cyber threats and how advanced solutions like AI can change security tactics.
GovInsider Live Indonesia will also honour individuals and ministries that have made significant achievements in driving digital transformation in Indonesia with GovInsider’s Indonesia Digital Transformation Award, including Digital Leader of The Year, Rising Digital Star of The Year, Digital Agency of The Year and Transformative Agency of The Year.
