As critical infrastructure, such as energy, public safety and health, is getting more interconnected, their security has become a rising priority for governments and utilities. Check Point and GovInsider have created a guide to help officials in this area tackle threats and keep critical infrastructure secured. There are four key steps officials must take, the report says:


  • Governments must aim for preventing - and not than just detecting threats
  • Strengthen IT systems and ensure they are constantly upgraded
  • All staff must have basic education and training to be cautious of threats
  • Use data to predict risks and identify weaknesses in advance
