Why creativity and empathy will be crucial skills

By Cognizant

As machines take over repetitive tasks, humans will need to focus on their creative skills.

Collaboration, creativity, curiosity and empathy will be crucial skills for the future, according to a research report.

While machines will take up some existing jobs, people need to become better train in work that is unique to humans, it shows.
In healthcare, for instance, nurses are able to spend more time empathising with and guiding patients as the manual, repetitive parts of their jobs are automated.

New kinds of jobs will also be created. For example, augmented reality designers will be in demand in insurance companies as the claims management process is redesigned, the report predicts.
