GovInsider's Young and Official report features the stories of 95 public servants aged 35 and under who are helping to reshape public service around the world.
In July 2026, we published the first edition of Young & Official special report, which celebrated the stories of how young civil servants are impacting the public service with their drive, creativity, and agility.
The special report featured close to 100 public servants from around the world who shared their experiences as young professionals in the public sector.
With their stories, we aimed to send a message for the next generation: the public sector can be a vibrant and high-impact space.

This downloadable e-book compiles all the profiles featured in this inaugural edition of the special report.
The stories of these public servants span nine countries across over 40 agencies, but they share the same curiosity and courage to say “this could be better” and made a difference in their organisations.
The report was made possible with the support of our community partners who spread the word to their networks and nominated notable innovators.
