Last year, GovInsider’s annual Women in GovTech guide featured more than 100 stories across 24 countries in four continents. The guide was further backed up by seven community partners that were public sector agencies and one sponsor.
The wide scope of the guide points to the complex and diverse ways women contribute to the mission of digital government.
Some of the many highlights include a UX Designer in Cambodia who helped to design and streamline a Vaccine Management System; a Deputy Director in Singapore who develops training programmes for senior leaders; and UAE’s Deputy Minister for Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, who spearheaded the country’s Zero Government Bureaucracy initiative.
The guide is a snapshot of the state of government transformation today, with leaders sharing their country’s progress on emerging themes.
Downloadable e-book
This downloadable e-book aims to be a useful record providing a snapshot of the state of government transformation today, with leaders sharing their country’s progress on emerging themes.
The themes ranged from the state of digital public infrastructure (DPI), the artificial intelligence (AI) whirlwind, and the quantum tech question mark, as well as perennial topics such as designing accessible, user-friendly services, sustainability, managing change within an organisation, and modernisation.
It is a living document as well: GovInsider continues to document the progress and innovation driven by women in govtech, as we expand the narrative on our website. This ensures that the guide serves as a dynamic and relevant resource, capturing the evolving impact of women in this field.
