GovInsider opens call for Women in GovTech 2025!
By Si Ying Thian
Last year’s report celebrated a record-breaking 100+ women in government technology. Your nominations help us find female leaders who are building a more inclusive and trustworthy public sector.

GovInsider is now opening the call for nominations for the Women in GovTech 2025 special report, a collection of stories by women leaders using tech to improve citizens' lives.
For about a decade, GovInsider’s annual Women in GovTech special report has spotlighted trailblazers and quiet innovators in public sector technology.
At the end of every year, we celebrate the incredible women from around the world who are using technology to improve citizens’ lives – from ministers, directors, product managers, data scientists to UX designers.
This special report isn’t just a list; it’s a collection of powerful stories.
We have featured women who pioneered new approaches to innovation like a startup accelerator reality TV show, designed digital services for various domains, and spearheaded national initiatives like the Zero Government Bureaucracy.
Their insights have offered a snapshot of the state of government innovation and inspire the next generation of leaders. You can find the 2024 report here.
What it's all about
The ninth edition continues to showcase this diversity of women leaders, and we have themed the 2025 report as “How inclusive tech builds trust for all.”
Technology is only truly transformative when it serves everyone, and this commitment to inclusivity is the foundation of public trust.
The report will feature the stories (in Q&A format) of at least 50 women around the world who are in technology roles or have influence over government's use of technology.
The stories in the 2025 report will show how a focus on accessibility, transparency, and citizen-centric design can build stronger, more reliable relationships between government and citizens.
What we’re looking for
We are now opening the call for submissions for the 2025 edition from now until November 21, 2025.
We’re looking for women in government - at any level, in any country - who are making a difference with technology.
Whether you're a coder, a policymaker, a project manager, or an IT director, if you have a story to tell about how you're using technology to drive public good, we want to hear it.
If you or someone you know fits the bill, reach out to us at editorial@govinsider.asia or drop us a LinkedIn message at GovInsider!
